The Perspective of Repetition

Perspective and repetitive pattern in photography are two ways to bring interest into your subject and make your images more compelling. Combining both of these at the same time can yield some interesting results and if done right produce a captivating image.
In the below image if I would of shot it straight on, I would of had repeating pattern, but it would of been a pretty static image. Taking the image from that vantage point idea leads your eye front right to left and makes you wonder where the end of it is going. That vantage point eliminates the static nature of the image and creates movement.


The above photograph is one subject that I love to shoot. Historical artifacts/Americana. A glimpse into yesteryear.
